Spells seen in stories to date

The following are spells that have been seen "on screen" in Metamor City stories. They are organized by the activation words that trigger the spell. It is likely that mages from different traditions will have different activation words linked to the same effect.

Ausantis Estero

Divination (Air)
Effect: Augury. Creates a viewing portal that shows past events in the place where the spell was cast. By reversing the direction of the sigils, the spell can be made to run in reverse, showing the most recent events first and moving backwards from there.

Muina Panto

Translation: "Reveal that which is secret" in Elvish
Divination (Air)
Effect: Reveals the location of an object or person. Requires either three or six items that are sympathetically connected to the subject, as well as a map or other means of illustrating the object's location.
Like all divination spells, this is subject to interference. It is especially tricky when targeting living creatures, because they move and change constantly. The spell must be focused to a limited range of options in order to be effective; otherwise, the chance of picking up false positives is very high.
