This forest is located at the edge of the southern Barrier range between Dark Keep, Bremen and Lik. It has at its heart a small energy nexus. Giant ruins have been reported there. Little else is known of the place, beyond that this area is under the control of the Vampire Syndicate.
Author's Notes
The Murk was used by Lilith to stake a power grab in 707 in the western Giantdowns. Her servants took over much of the southern part of Nasoj's territory after the failure of the Winter Assault. The mining town of Lik switched loyalties from Nasoj to Lik after the portal connecting the town to Nasojassa was destroyed, and the Murk expanded to encompass the town. The Murk remained a western toehold for Lilith and Talia until Talia's sanity was restored.
