Agnostics

These people profess not to know anything about the nature of the Creator. Many of them believe that nothing can be known about the Creator. Clearly there are enough fantastic elements in the world to suggest that there might well have been a Creator — but whoever he, she or it might have been, they do not believe that the Creator is presently engaged in the world, and they are similarly skeptical about the Universalists' belief that the Creator lives on inside everyone. Agnostics may be completely non-religious, or they may devote themselves to philosophical disciplines similar to Zen Buddhism.
