Name- Nathan Talbot
Power Level-Something Extra-Antientropic
Gender-Male

Place of Birth-Pyralis
Appearance- His gait is extremely tight and stunted(if you have seen it, the way John Nash walks in the last ¼ of “A Beautiful Mind” is almost exactly the way he walks), his face is hollow and sad. He is around 5 feet 3 inches tall, 150 pounds and has short brown hair with graying temples.
There are a lot of ideas that go into Talbot. The first and most important one is that he is kind of an object example of why, in some ways, we are(to paraphrase the Bible, Genesis 4:9) our brothers keeper. He is one of society's rejects come back to haunt it. He was born and lived in Pyralis, he went to school with a major in finance where he met his wife, they got married, and he got a job as a mid level accountant and planned a life that to most people would be painfully dull.
That was until Daedra'kema, 1995. His family was brutally attacked by a daedra that was summoned by a mage that had more knowledge than competence and he survived only due to the intervention of the local law enforcement. Unfortunately his family was not so lucky and were torn limb from limb and he was powerless to stop it, despite his best efforts. His physical injuries were minor but his mind was shattered completely by the massive trauma and he alternated between hysterics and complete catatonia. Unfortunately his house was in ruins and he had no family to speak of, so he was sent to Akkala’s Home, a facility run by Pyralis used to treat the mentally ill. As the years passed it was found that he could not be treated by any magical or psychic means. Something in the very core of his being absolutely refused to allow anything he considered “paranormal” or random to exist in his presence. He knew about these things but part of him didn’t allow them to be real. It was speculated by the few mages that were familiar with his case that he could have been an extremely powerful mage had things worked out differently but they didn’t. Most mages had other places to be, spells go off before he shows up or after he leaves, reagents were spoiled or the wrong kind, and so forth. Those few times when anything magic/paranormal does happen around him(his anti-entropy field is about 90% effective) he either doesn’t fully “see” it, withdraws or can become violent. This anti-entropic field includes the Curse of Metamor City, which because of the sheer strength of Talbot’s unconscious mind just doesn’t take.
In the second quarter of 2000 funding was cut for Akkala’s Home and all of the residents were forced to leave. Nathan was considered “lucky” because he was marginally functional due to a steady supply of mind altering drugs but still obviously broken as a human.
On October 30, 2000 he was released from Akkala’s Home and given a job doing data entry and filing in the capital city of Pyralis, or at least that was before there was a filing error that put him in the employee exchange program with Metamor.
He can be redeemed but only by something truly and utterly remarkable and can very easily become something really, really scary. When he is capable of thinking about anything he sees as unusual he thinks of the daedra and any creature that is non-human will slowly loose their energy if they are forced to be around him.
