Personality and Appearance

Yulia worked her way from poverty in Vysehard to become one of the top fashion designers in Galendor. That determination and drive also makes her very intolerant of mistakes, delays, or barriers to her plans.

She dresses impeccably, being a fashion designer, but some elements of her past linger. She has a pronounced Vysehradic accent, and her body does bear some of the traces of her childhood poverty.

Background

Yulia is from the nation of Vysehrad. She came to Metamor City as a fashion designer putting on her first big show in the glowing metropolis of Metamor City.

The secret behind her success is that she made a bargin with a domovoi (a fae tied to her homeland of Vysehrad), and the spirit enchants her clothing for her (the specific nature of the enchantment will be revealed later).

Six months before the events of Double Trouble, Yulia left her home to make it big in Metamor City- where she was already known for her designs. In doing so, she knew she would be giving up the domovoi's blessing: she just didn't know that the domovoi would follow her to cause mischief and seek revenge.

Current Activities

Her entrance into the City's fashion world will put Yulia in contact with the Androgynes Danni/Daniel Sharabi and Evan/Eva Selindi. Her contact with Eva is something of a reunion; while specifics aren't discussed, Yulia's demeanor turned from boss from hell to nice and genial when Eva came to her office with Danni.

Yulia has enough influence and money as a top fashion designer to get her first show in Metamor City on the Skyship Valemar.

Before her show, the domovoi made enough trouble that Yulia had three exorcisms done and had tried to get the intervention of Lady Akkala. It is this last attempt at removing the domovoi's mischief that brought on the attention of the Lightbringers.

While Yulia's concerns were chalked up to backwater superstition (since in all of the exorcism attempts she didn't mention the little fact that she had made a deal with a fae), Agent Clyde Jessup, an agent who recently completed his training, to be on hand in case there was anything real to the fashion designer's worries. He ends up working with Danni/Daniel, Eva/Evan, Yulia, and Rebecca Brower to trap the domovoi and Agent Jessup handled the negotiations for his release.

Home

Yulia is from Vysehrad, but currently residing in Metamor City (location TBD) while putting together her first fashion show.

Known Allies

  • Clyde Jessup- the young Lothansi Agent handled the negotiations with the domovoi.
  • Danni/Daniel Sharabi- Yulia was ever so happy that Eva had brought Danni/Daniel to her as a fill-in model for the show. The fact that Daniel was able to fight down the domovoi while Yulia created the circle to bind him put her forever in the androgyne's debt.
  • Evan/Eva Selindi- Yulia has known Eva/Evan for some time. It is unknown if this was the result of a past job for the runner, or if it's because ey are a good customer when the payment from a job has been good enough. Eva/Evan knows Vysehradic, a fact that Yulia forgot when upset over the domovoi's actions on the skyship.
  • Rebecca Brower- the psionic artist loves Yulia's work, and it is her visions that tip the balance and help the others get Yulia to confess to the bargain she made with the domovoi.

Known Enemies

  • Her domovi is still probably upset with Yulia, but is bound by the terms of the negotiation headed by Agent Jessup release Yulia from the bargain he made and that the domovoi was to return to his house. (The exact details of the deal were not stated, but it is assumed that he is not obligated to help Yulia).
