Background
Corporal Elizabeth Moore, or “Lizzy” to her friends, is a very bright and precocious young woman who quickly caught people’s attention when she joined the Metamor City Police Department. A child of a Knight of the Red Stallion (her birth mom) and a respected Arabarbian professor of macroeconomics and international development (her mum by marriage), Lizzy could have written her own ticket just about anywhere in the world. She is a child of privilege in every sense, and her Cursed bloodlines run deep into Metamor’s storied past.
Lizzy spent her childhood traveling abroad with her parents, growing up much of the time in international schools in their host countries with other children of privilege. Because both of her moms worked on international development for the Empire, though, she also saw the dark side in these countries: crushing poverty, external manipulation by powerful megacorps like Majestic Industries, people denied access to clean water and adequate food because of largely political reasons. Lizzy’s parents were keen to instill in her a sense of the responsibility that came with their wealth: their job was to use their privilege to help people who didn’t have it, to educate themselves about the challenges common people faced and work within the systems of power to improve things for them.
Lizzy took these lessons to heart, but in her late teens she began to yearn for the chance to make her own mark. While attending the prestigious Chisolm University, she learned about the large number of crimes that went unsolved, the “cold cases” that stacked up for lack of sufficient evidence. This offended her sense of justice, particularly because it was happening under her nose in the city that she thought of as “home base” (since they always came back to it when they returned to the Empire). Since she enjoyed puzzles, becoming a detective and pushing for “cold case” work seemed like a good fit.
She was right; in her first year at FED she cleared 34 “dead” cases, through a combination of persistence, powerful connections, attention to detail, and brilliant reasoning capabilities. She was so effective as a detective that Captain Shaw identified her as an invaluable resource and snapped her up for her own team, luring her with the promise of working the Department’s most challenging cases. In her heart, though, what made Lizzy switch over was the chance to work the Missing Persons desk; the cold case work with FED let her balance the scales of justice, but the people for whom justice had been delayed were often long dead. Missing Persons gave her the chance to help people who might still have a chance of being rescued.
Current Activities
Shaw partnered Kate with Lizzy because she knew that Kate’s maturity and overall experience would be an effective combo with Lizzy’s intellect and familiarity with the Missing Persons operations.
After the events of TLATL, Lizzy is placed on Kate's Terrorism task force and partnered with Det. Ryan Barker.

Lizzy is based on real-life Metamorph Elizabeth Reisine (Moore is her mother's maiden name). Her appearance in THE LOST AND THE LEAST was arranged as part of a Kickstarter project to fund the cover art for the book, courtesy of her girlfriend and one of her close friends. Beth has now been notified about Lizzy and given her approval to the character.
