Background
Captian Egan Hunter was as close to whatever passed as Victor hin'Kavos's friend. They had been roommates and graduated Westfall together in 1980. They had been fellow psi ops for 5 years before was transferred to the Counterintelligence division of the MID. At the time of Making the Cut he had been in CI for ten years.
Egan was present when Victor killed Fiona's mother when she was a child. Per Victor's request, Egan wiped the young Fiona to cover up what had happened to her mother. Victor and Egan then collected a significant reward for "rescuing" the child egoist and bringing her into the fold of the Collective
Egan was assigned by Miriam Bakhtavar to find Victor and killed by him around June 21, 1999.
Victor then uses Egan's cell phone to track down Miriam (leading to her conversion to a vampire).
