Introduction
Del was a classmate of Brian Sommers, Daniel Sharabi, Fiona hin'Conaill, Rebecca Brower, Daniel Sharabi, Sasha King, Trace Umbara, and Kevin Darby in Westfall Academy, one of the Psi Collective's crèches.
He was on the school's skyball team with Daniel, Fiona, Trace, and Kevin.
After the Academy Del was a psi op in the MID, on a team with Brian, Fiona, Sasha, and Trace . He was primarily a fighter (based on his theriomorph physique and abilities, and military training) who used his telekinesis himself and his team mates.
After his tour, he left active participation in the Collective to marry another wolf-morph, Josephine, who had just enough telepathy to be compatible with another telepath. Del left the Hive when Josephine refused to join the Collective for religious reasons (as a firm Ecclesiast, the concept of being in a breeding cell was not possible for her).
At the beginning of the Matthias Skyport raid, he had a 4 month old daughter (Elizabeth Yanlin).
Death
Del was killed during the raid by Victor hin’Kavos, who had been a mentor and instructor to all of the students in the Westfall class that Del was a part of.
After his death, his family had a problem. The Collective, despite having hired Del as part of this mission, would not provide any assistance to the family. They would provide Hive benefits if she joined, covering child care, health care, and the cost of the funeral. However, this would violate her religion’s teachings, since she would be required to join a breeding cell.
Daniel, feeling guilty over Del's death and outraged at the Collective's treatment of Del's family, gives Josephine the money he earned on the raid, lying and telling her that it was a collection from Del's friends.
The Hive is upset that she gets the assistance, and casts a suspicious eye on the Sommers cell because they had been vocal in their disapproval of the Hive's actions.
