Physical Notes: Brian has fairly handsome features but an unimpressive build — he's only about 5'9", and while he has decent muscle tone in his arms and legs, he has a persistent paunch on his stomach that he can't seem to get rid of. He enjoys running but not weightlifting, and he doesn't look particularly strong (though he has above-average endurance from his morning runs). He has fair skin.

Introduction
Brian was a student/member of the Westfall Academy, one of the Psi Collective's crèches.
Brian currently is the "stud" for a breeding cell (referred to as the Sommers Cell). He treats all of the women in the cell with care and respect, and does a fairly good job of giving each of them love in the way that they need it most. Brian may not be a strong telepath, but he's quite empathic and has a ready sense of the feelings of others. This is highly important in a breeding cell, and even more so for the male than for the females.
Sasha states that Brian has a wargaming group that he plays with in the virtual world as a hobby.
Jobs
Brian currently makes his money as a computer programmer, building and maintaining domains and security systems on the WorldNet.
In addition, he and other members of his breeding cell take on missions from the Collective to supplement their income. These missions can be very dangerous, though the Collective tries not to risk him unnecessarily — powerful psychokinetics are rare enough that breeding more of them is more important than the success of any single mission.
On these missions, Brian takes lead as the captain. This is a reflection of the rank he achieved in the MID as a psi op and a recognition by the other team members of his leadership.
Other members of that team were Fiona, Sasha, Trace, and Del.
Beyond the leadership role, Brian's function on the team is security, system infiltration and espionage.
During Making The Cut, the ill-fated Matthias Skyport raid job was given to them by Elder Miriam Bakhtavar. Miriam also attempt to help the cell several times after this.
